SACRAMENTO — This weekend, Gov. Gavin Newsom signed bills by both of Lake County’s state representatives.

The governor signed 80 bills this weekend and vetoed over 120, wrapping up the 2019 legislative season. Among the bills signed were two introduced by Assemblymember Cecilia Aguiar-Curry, D-Winters, and one by Sen. Mike McGuire (D-Healdsburg), both of whom represent Lake County at the capitol. Newsom also vetoed two Aguiar-Curry bills this weekend.

Assembly Bills 1494 and 744, both introduced by State Assemblymember Cecilia Aguiar-Curry (D-Winters), will expand the use and applicability of remote healthcare services, or “telehealth.”
